Direction 1 — Minimal toolbar
Closest to what's there now. Understated, sits quietly at the bottom of the Huddle page. Area is a small dropdown in the header; Loom is a "+ Loom" that reveals an inline field only when needed, so the box stays compact for the common text-only case.

Direction 2 — Structured ticket form
Clearest for people who file rarely. Every field labeled and stacked like a help-desk ticket, so nobody wonders what goes where. Slightly taller, but the most self-explanatory — good if you want coaches who never file to start.

Direction 3 — Pills + big compose
Lowest friction, most modern. Area is a row of one-tap pills instead of a dropdown; the text box is the hero; Loom and image are quiet icon buttons in the action bar that expand inline. Feels like Linear/Slack — fast to fire off a quick note.

Direction 4 — Compose + live queue side-by-side
Makes the feedback loop visible. Compose on the left, the live queue of what's already reported (with your Open/Fixed status) on the right. Coaches see their note land and see it isn't a black hole — and they skip filing dupes. Widest footprint of the four.

My lean: Direction 3 (pills + compose) for day-to-day speed, or Direction 1 if you want it to stay visually quiet on the Huddle page. Direction 2 is best if getting rare-filers to participate matters most; Direction 4 if you want the "it's not a black hole" transparency. All four carry the same fields — this is purely how it looks and feels.
